Kids participating at this years BC Elementary Track & Field Championships had the pleasure of seeing some of BC’s finest milers in action at the 2nd Annual Minoru Mile hosted by the Kajaks Track & Field Club and BC Endurance Project.
On the women’s side, the top 3 places were taken by Ocean Athletics’ Devan Wiebe (4:45.99), Vancouver Thunderbirds’ Kirsten Lee (4:46.54) and Julia Howley (4:47.43) competing Unattached.
The men’s race was won by Jack Williams (4:07.11) also competing for Ocean Athletics Club with Justin Kent (4:07.78) of Coastal Track Club/BC Endurance Project and Max Trummer (4:08.62) competing Unattached rounding out the top 3 finishers.
Top 3 finishers of both races will recieve prize money amounts of $425, $325, $225 respectively.
