What we do
The Kajaks Track & Field Club provides competitive and non-competitive programs in the sport of athletics for athletes of all ages. We follow the Athletics Canada Long Term Athlete Development Pathway with the aim of creating a fun and safe environment for club members. For more information on our programs, please see www.kajaks.ca/programs.
As a promoter of Athletics, the Kajaks Track & Field club also provides the community with quality athletics events including the Steveston Icebreaker 8K Run & Walk, The Richard Collier Big Kahuna ThrowsFest, The Minoru Mile and the Annual BC Elementary Track & Field Championships. Invoking a strong spirit of Volunteerism, the goal of these events is to offer all participants a memorable experience and, in the process, build long lasting relationships between club and community.
