Welcome to some great news about Kajaks gear for the season ahead - New Balance Club shirts, Spikes Library, new competition SINGLETS, and some upcoming online stores!
Club Shirts.All athletes receive an orange Kajaks Club shirt as part of registration. Club shirts are New Balance dri-fit and available in sizes youth small to mens 4XL. Please wear your shirt to practice. Extras are available for purchase at $30 each.
Spikes Library.Thanks for some very generous donations from New Balance Richmond and Coach Melissa Barrett, and several Kajaks families we are able to offer a spikes and throwing shoes lending system! Here’s how it works:
· Athletes can sign out a pair of spikes or throwing shoes for the season and return them at no cost;
· Any unreturned or lost spikes will cost the athlete who signed them out $50.
Kajaks Spikes Library is managed by Wendy Pollock (JD Kayden’s Mom). If your athlete needs spikes, throwing shoes or you wish to donate a pair you can watch for Spikes Library days on Team Snap or contact Wendy - send an email to info@kajaks.ca
NEW CLUB SINGLETS.
Our new singlets have arrived and will be for sale on Friday, April 25th from 5:30-7pm, and through the weekend at the Clement Track concession!
· Youth sizes: small to XL = $40
· Women sizes: XS to 3XL = $45
· Men sizes: XS to 4XL = $45
· You can pay in advance by transfer or onsite by tap or etransfer (info@kajaks.ca, security word: orange)
· Additional availability will be announced on Team Snap so watch for Singlet Sales days

Online Stores.Kajaks Store #1lululemon - I think we’ve got your attention now? Next week, we’ll be doing a test launch of an online clothing store for our club gear. Details will be coming shortly. This first offering will feature lululemon items including warm up suits, shorts and shirts. New Balance will also be featured with adult and youth options.

If the item is on sale, you can use whatever is the greater discount of those two prices.
These discounts are for personal purchases only, for club members. Kajaks members can refer others to the store and those individuals will receive a 15% discount. Ideally this referral happens in-person or the referred person can bring a Kajaks competition bib with a 15% off coupon. We can provide bibs if you want one!
