Hello Kajaks family!
I am sending a friendly reminder to purchase your tickets for our March 11 pub night social and fundraiser. If you have not been able to pick up your tickets at practice, contact me directly (dereck@hamada.ca), and I will reserve your tickets for pickup at the Buck & Ear Pub in Steveston on March 11.
The planning committee has put a lot of effort into this event and it promises to be fun for all. We have OVER $3,000 in prizes and silent auction items to be won from gracious local businesses (if they are willing to support our club, you should too by showing up!).
There will also be a 50/50 draw, door prizes for the athletes attending and a special skill event (which you do not want to miss). Come out and share some conversation with your fellow members, coaches (most will be attending) and club staff.
This is a great pre-season opportunity to chat about the upcoming season, and have some fun (and win prizes). See you March 11!
